Think about it this way for a second

Missing context is like an empty plate. If there's no curry, you don't cook something up anyway — you ask "what curry did you want?" Don't write "guess if it's not enough" in your prompt. Write "if something's missing, ask one quick question about what's needed." RAG stops when it finds nothing. Context engineering asks back when there's not enough. Both are pushing against the same habit of filling gaps with guesses.

Let's connect this to everyday life

The question is "when's the assignment due?" There's no evidence for it. The good answer — "I can't find a due date in the syllabus. Can you give me the file name?" The bad answer — "It's probably Friday, most likely." The second one sounds confident. The first one is honest. Build this same path into every card in your Study Context Pack.
