Blockchain ရဲ့အဓိကမေးခွန်းက “အလယ်က ယုံကြည်ရမယ့် third party မရှိဘဲ လူတွေဘယ်လိုသဘောတူညီချက်ရမလဲ?” ဆိုတာပါ။ ဥပမာ bank transfer မှာ bank က ledger ကိုထိန်းပေးတယ်။ Online marketplace မှာ platform က transaction record ကိုထိန်းပေးတယ်။ Blockchain ကတော့ ledger copy ကို network ထဲက computer များစွာမှာထားပြီး rule တူတူနဲ့အတည်ပြုစေပါတယ်။
ဒါကြောင့် Blockchain က trust ကို person/company တစ်ခုတည်းအပေါ်မထားဘဲ cryptography + consensus + transparent records ပေါ်မှာတည်ဆောက်ပါတယ်။ သို့ပေမယ့် blockchain သုံးတိုင်းကောင်းတာမဟုတ်ပါ။ Data ကိုမကြာခဏပြင်ရတဲ့ system, privacy အရမ်းလိုတဲ့ system, အမြန်ဆုံး transaction လိုတဲ့ system တွေမှာ normal database ကပိုသင့်နိုင်ပါတယ်.
